NIDILRR Seeks Input to Guide Strategic Planning

The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) will host several listening sessions across the country to help inform future funding priorities and strategic direction. Public meetings will be held Oct. 14th and 28th, Nov. 1st and 18th, and Dec. 5th. Attendees should come prepared to answer the following questions: What issues (barriers) make it challenging for you to be an active member of your community? What improvements (name the top one or two) would make your daily life better? What has changed, for better or worse, in the last five years that has affected your ability to achieve your goals? Members of the public may attend in person or by phone. Click here for locations, start time, registration and other information. Written comments may also be submitted via email to IDILRRfuture@acl.hhs.gov by Dec. 12th.
